Andrew Lewis, PhD
Chief Scientist
Expertise in Molecular/Cell Biology & Protein Engineering
Dr. Lewis is an expert in molecular biology and protein engineering. He earned his PhD with Professor Jonathan Sachs at the University of Minnesota. In his thesis work, he identified and characterized a novel molecular model describing the conformational changes associated with TNF Receptor activation. He completed his post-doctoral training with Professor Ben Hackel at the University of Minnesota where he applied high-throughput screening methods to identify small-scaffold binding protein fusions with enhanced target affinity and specificity.
